The typical storage bed has drawers under the mattress. They’re large and unwieldy – when they’re full they’re too heavy to open and close and when they’re empty they often get pushed in too far making the bed look unsightly. Ours aren’t like that though. They’re high-quality, lift-up storage beds.

Our storage beds all have high-quality mechanisms which have been designed to be used every day. They’re strong and gas powered so easily lift the mattress to well above head height for easy access to everything – even your goodies stored at the back. So simply lift the mattresses and put everything inside before bed and at least you won’t be able to say your wakefulness is down to a messy room.

As you know our beds are all high quality and made to order by us (at our workshops just outside Nottingham) so we know them literally inside and outside – which really helps when it comes to Delivery and Installation.

We want you to not only have the storage bed you want but the delivery option that suits you best too. That’s why we give you a choice. There’s Standard Delivery (where we deliver your bed and you put it together), Home Installation (where we deliver and expertly install your bed) and Overseas (where we carefully package your bed and then dispatch it to you wherever you are). There is also the option of  Guaranteed Weekend Delivery. Normal delivery times are between 6 and 8 weeks, but by choosing from our list of Storage Beds in Stock, yours can be with you sooner.

Once you’ve ordered your storage bed from us we’ll set about making it in your chosen style (we offer 4 storage bed designs; Simplicity, Simplicity Plus, Simplicity Max and Simplicity Air), size and Fabric. Then, around two weeks before delivery day, we’ll be in touch to arrange a convenient time. We know your days are precious so give you a two hour delivery window and then call when we’re 20 minutes away.

When the moment has arrived and we’re with you with your beautiful new storage bed we will quickly and without undue fuss install it into your chosen room.  We’ll take away the packaging (and even your old bed too if we’ve agreed to do so in advance) so all your left with is a beautiful storage bed to enjoy. The survey, which was apparently carried out for QVC, didn’t go into the reasons why people leave it so long between bed refreshes but I could have a guess – laziness. It can be fairly awkward getting to the clean sheets if they’re stored in a high cupboard. And that’s before you tie yourself in knots trying to get the duvet cover on.

White leather storage beds have a beautiful clean crispness about them. They look wonderful yet maintain all the practicality that comes from having masses of under bed storage.

As with all our leather beds we use only the highest quality British hides. The leather is thick, soft and supple and hasn’t been split or bonded in any way. (Beware – many products claiming to be leather aren’t actually the genuine article).

As well as a large selection of Fabrics and Accessories we also offer four different styles of storage bed. They all use the same high quality, gas-powered mechanisms to ensure the bed lifts easily and smoothly time and time again, but there are subtle differences, particularly in the amount of storage.

Simplicity is our standard storage bed. It has 20cm of storage depth and can be end or side opening or have our specialist Alto mechanism fitted to make the bed lift all the way around. The bed is standard bed height and the storage space ample for shoes, sheets, suitcases or toys.

Next comes Simplicity Plus. With 30cm of storage depth it’s popular with those wanting a slightly higher bed and 50% more storage space. We’ve seen golf clubs, baby equipment and even printers stored inside this particular model.
