When someone says the phrase “bed size” to you, what do you think about? I imagine it’s actually the size of the mattress. And yes of course that is important, but at the Storage Bed Company we believe the size of the actual bed should have just as high a priority.

Bed size is so much more than just Double, Single, King etc. It’s as much about the overall size of the bed. It is, after all, all what will determine whether or not it will fit into the space you have in mind for it.

The size of the bed is usually determined by the size of the frame rather than the mattress. Have a look at your bed – does the mattress drop into the frame, so making it 5cm or so bigger all around? Even if it’s a divan bed, the chances are the overall dimensions of the bed itself will be bigger than your mattress.

We believe you should have the maximum possible space to sleep on and the size of the mattress should actually be the size of the bed.
